The four, or five-brains theory came to my mind watching a documentary about our second brain, the guts.It works like a neuronal system with as many neurons than in a dogs brain. 95% of information goes from the guts to the upper brain and only 5% goes from the upper brain to the guts. Who influences whom?? I visited in a certain way all my organs during regular 7 to 12 days of fasting based exclusively on water. So I got an idea of the powerful influence of this organ. Than I studied the upper brain which is composed by three different parts which I call different brains, because they were developed in different periods of the human evolution: the primitive, the limbic and the neocortex. In my point of you the human problems nearly all are linked to the complexity of our neuronal system and to a bad connection between the different neuronal parts.
